Detective Chris Johnson asked the following question: We had a meeting today talking about case submission and had one of our attorneys present. She had a concern about a few cases that we want to submit and wanted your opinion or guidance. The cases are cases that we have a conviction on but they were for lesser degree sexual assaults or pled to something related. In these cases they were not required to submit a buccal to corrections upon sentencing so there DNA is not in CODIS.

As Cleveland prepared to launch the PSP program, the U.S. Attorney’s Office--Northern District of Ohio, hosted an introductory meeting on July 11, 2019. This meeting provided local leaders an opportunity to share issues facing the community with DOJ and learn from DOJ what Cleveland can expect during its three-year PSP engagement. Agencies in attendance at this meeting included the U.S.

The City of Newburgh, New York Police Department requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to host T3 Trainings offered by POLIS Solutions. Polis Solutions was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a three day onsite visit with the agency in July 2019.

IIR provided logistical support for the planning and coordination of the 2019 CPD Crime Fighters Conference. PSP site participants from Birmingham, Indianapolis, Jackson, Memphis, Milwaukee, Saginaw, Salisbury, and Toledo attended the Chicago PD’s Crime Fighters Conference on January 24-25, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois.
