Our speaker proposal was accepted and we were invited to present at the 2020 Human Trafficking Summit which launches on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Speakers include Jane Anderson, AEquitas, and Kim Nash, International Association of Forensic Nurses. The topic will be " A SANE approach to Human Trafficking".

AEquitas participated in a call on January 7, 2020 with the Las Vegas Human Trafficking Task Force to address needs related to investigating and charging money laundering, prosecuting cases involving immigrant victims, and using expert witnesses. Follow up via email was given including resources, contact information for subject matter experts, and answers to questions asked on the call.
From January 2020- June 2020 resources were disseminated to the field, to include Labor Trafficking participant workbooks, ECM one pagers, task force connect flyer, webinar recordings, social media posts, and other marketing postings.
On June 24, 2020 IACP hosted the Analyzing Culpability/Charging Decisions in Human Trafficking Cases. This presentation was designed to improve human trafficking responses and to better investigate and prosecute traffickers while ensuring that victims are not inappropriately charged with crimes they are forced to commit.
Other marketing postings include postings in IACP Monthly, The LEAD, and IACP net. These postings market and share information on project resources and events. Three new postings in total this reporting period.
