Justice Counts presentation the International Community Justice Association: CSG Justice Center staff presented to approximately 30 people from 20 agencies at the International Community Justice Association conference.

Justice Counts Meeting with Supervision Leaders: CSG Justice Center staff met with Mike Randle (Executive VP of Operations, Oriana House), Amanda Cates (Research & CQI Administrator, Oriana House), Alexandria Tonkin (Research & Grants Administrator, Oriana House), RoEllen Sinkewich (VP of Business Development, Volunteers of America Greater Ohio), and Lusanne Green (Executive Director, Ohio Community Corrections Association) to discuss Justice Counts implementation in Ohio.Â

Justice Counts Community Supervision Subcommittee Meeting: CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from Measures for Justice, 4 subcommittee members, and 10 project partners from 12 agencies to discuss potential Tier 2 metrics.

Justice Counts Prosecution Subcommittee Meeting: CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from Measures for Justice, 5 subcommittee members, and 3 project partners from 6 agencies to discuss potential Tier 2 metrics.

Justice Counts Presentation to the Correctional Leaders Association: CSG Justice Center staff presented to approximately 30 people at the Correctional Leaders Association Summer Conference.

Justice Counts Prisons Subcommittee Meeting: CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from Measures for Justice, 4 subcommittee members, and 3 project partners from 7 agencies to discuss potential Tier 2 metrics.

Justice Counts Jails Subcommittee Meeting: CSG Justice Center staff met with staff from Measures for Justice, 4 subcommittee members, and 8 project partners from 9 agencies to discuss potential Tier 2 metrics.

·      7/20 Justice Counts site visit to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office; meeting with Catherine Kilgore (Criminal Justice Advisory Board Administrator), Dr. Ashley Yinger (Criminal Justice Programming Administrator), and Dr. Jonathon Lee to provide a project overview and discuss Justice Counts in Dauphin County.

o  7/11 Meeting with Michael Mansur (Communication Director) from the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office to discuss Justice Counts in Kansas City.
o  7/11 Meeting with Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw from Kansas City 5th District to discuss Justice Counts in Kansas City.
o  7/11 Call with Robert Russell (Prosecutor) from the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office to discuss Justice Counts in Johnson County.
o  7/12 Meeting with Major Eric Holland from the Platte County Sheriff’s Office to discuss Justice Counts in Platte County.

Objective 4: Facilitate states’ adoption of standards and guidelines on data-driven decision-making.
8/10 Call with Jeff Locke (Senior Policy Advisor) and Dr. Heather Tubman-Carbone (Associate Deputy Director) from BJA to discuss upcoming conference presentations, overall scoreboard development, and the upcoming metrics discussion with BJA.
