We assisted the grantee in developing and completing their implementation plan. Specifically we helped them map out their goals and activities, and strategized ways to modify their budget.

The PRC conducted a one hour demonstration/tutorial of the PREA Online Audit System for agency- and facility-based users (e.g. PREA Coordinators and PREA Compliance Mangaers). The one hour webinar also included a Q&A portion. Approximately 118 attendees.

"The Field Training Program (FTP) has been finding ways to reinforce the program's strengths and to improve areas that have been challenging. This work will help the program reach its goals that are set our for trainees and enhance the benefits that are received by participating host facilities.

We assisted the grantee in starting their implementation plan, specifically we began developing their time task and mapping out their goals and activities.

The Psychology of COVID-19 article was written to increase knowledge of the psychological impacts of the pandemic and how those in corrections may mitigate them. This article was published in the May-June 2020 issue of Corrections Today which was posted online with free access.

The Coronavirus COVID-19: Managing the Stress of Uncertainty by Taking Care of You Webinar will be conducted to benefit policy makers and all disciplines of correctional staff to provide training and technical assistance on effective management of employees and subsequent related stressors that can be caused by pandemic type occurrences. This live webinar will also be posted to the ACA resource center as enduring materials for the public and individuals who may not have been able to access the live event.

Steering committee members met to discuss site selection, site updates, and new business on September 20, 2019.

This will be the first FTP training audit following the July 2020 auditor training. Auditor candidates in that training will be required to complete the FTP process as a condition of certification.
