CJI has started the process of planning for the continued rollout of an inter-rater reliability (IRR) process to determine scoring proficiency among the staff who have been trained on the risk assessment and needs q and identify additional training needs.

The Symposium is for practitioners/staff that work directly with the re‐entry population and the goal is to equip those working in the field with up‐to‐date evidenced based best practices.
The Alaska Department of Corrections (DOC) requested technical assistance with the identification and implementation of nationally-recognized policies, practices, and procedures to reform and improve upon existing agency approaches to solitary confinement. BJA NTTAC is currently still identifying potential TA providers to fulfill this request, which will be transferred to the Option Year 1 (OY1) contract.
The West Virginia Division of Corrections (DOC) requested technical assistance to address a range of current challenges, including a rising prison population, limited resources, staffing shortages, facilities considerations, institutional gang and drug activity, and inmate-on-inmate violence.
