Madison self-identified as lacking strong criminology background and experience in place-based crime reduction efforts. Dr. Varano will identify gaps in knowledge/skills, offer bi-weekly phone consultations and resource follow up.
Official Site Visit to meet with the fiscal agent, project coordinator, research team, law enforcement partners and other cross sector partners while touring the CBCR site are. An additional objective is facilitating a meeting with the St. Louis area site partners over their common interests and attendance to a bi-weekly meeting of the St. Louis City steering group.

The Toledo, Ohio Police Department (TPD) is requesting support for two personnel to attend the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Training and Standards (IADLEST) Crime Analysis for Chief Executives workshop on August 28-29, 2018 in Garden City, Michigan. BJA NTTAC is supporting the lodging portion of attendee travel.
Grant to enable Chicago team to bring an additional partner to the FY 17 Planning and Implementation Convening in Washington DC
Bi-weekly phone call to improve Lourdes Fonseca - CBCR Coordinator- understanding of program coordinator role and engagement strategies. In addition, will make a site-visit in order to support LF role in building cross-sector partnership and expert guidance from Donna Griffin at the steering committee meeting.
Donna Griffin will work directly with the West Baltimore Project Coordinator in order to expand the coordinator's understanding of project management expectations and the comprehensive nature of the CBCR model.
