Sustaining effective, innovative, and evidence-based strategies is the cornerstone for Smart Prosecution practices. This webinar will highlight key elements for developing sustainment strategies, including: identifying principles for sustainability; creating meaningful partnerships; understanding the importance of engaging state administrative agencies; and identifying common challenges to program sustainment.

In this webinar, officials from the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance and the National Reentry Resource Center will review the Comprehensive Community-Based Adult Reentry grant program and application process. These grants will provide up to $1,000,000 for a 36-month project period to nonprofit organizations, tribal nonprofit organizations, and tribal governments with a documented history of administering comprehensive, evidence-based reentry services

Forensic Pathology Essentials, featuring conversations with medical examiners who are forensic pathology experts, lets you discover what happens to a body from the crime scene to the autopsy. Join NCCJD as we delve into the stories that created statewide movements to pass legislation impacting people with disabilities in the criminal justice system as either suspects or victims of crime. Over the past two years, NCCJD has been compiling a database of such legislation in order to help criminal justice and disability professionals understand this issue from a national viewpoint and get an idea of what type of legislation is being passed and why. A brief overview of current findings will be discussed by NCCJD’s Program Manager.
