 Lisa Jaeger completed Judicial, Public Safety Codes and Domestic Relations Codes for Scammon bay. Accomplished by telephone, zoom meetings on January 20, 2024, and March 5, 2024, providing 7 hours of individual TTA with Staff, to draft Judicial, Domestic Relations and Public Safety Codes and certificate of adoptions.
 Caroline Lee sent information regarding upcoming Tribal Court Administrator Leadership training to Scammon Bay on June 26, 2024.
 New Tribal Court Administrator emailed introduction to Alaska Tribal Justice Resource Center on June 25, 2024.

JIRN provided virtual TTA to 17 states. TTA sessions lasted 30-60 minutes. States met with JIRN about their DCRA implementation plans or update reports and their DCRA compliance statuses.

Where an auditor's work has been reviewed in either the peer review process or a documentation review and demonstrates a misunderstanding of PREA Standards or difficulty complying with practices that are outlined in the PREA Auditor Handbook, National PREA Resource Center (PRC) staff works with the PREA Management Office (PMO) to define remediation steps to support the auditor's learning and continuing audit practice. Remediation plans include PMO-approved resources, tools, and mentoring by a peer of the auditor or PRC staff.

The Illinois Courts Probation Services Division supervise the administration of county-operated juvenile detention facilities in the state. Three of eleven have opted on their own to pursue PREA certification and have been successful. The remaining eight had not pursued PREA certification. The Division anticipates legislation upcoming that will require the detention centers to be compliant with PREA and pursue certification and requested that a PRC staff member speak to the group about the benefits of certification and first steps in PREA implementation.

PRC staff member Maren Arbach presented to the CJJA PREA Committee, "You Get What You Inspect". Arbach is a dual-certified auditor and former state correctional agency PREA Coordinator. Arbach provided training on how to monitor a facility for ongoing compliance with the standards by organizing required documentation, use of checklists to ensure ongoing compliance, and tips on monitoring compliance with specific standards to ensure consistent compliance with standards.

Between July and December 2024 we facilitated 35 peer-to-peer connections and consultations between grantees and subject matter experts. This included connecting FY20 PFS Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma and FY20 SUD Alaska Native Justice Center’s Cook Inlet Tribal Council on July 17 and August 6, 2024, to discuss tribal reentry efforts and culturally responsive programming. Additionally, FY23 SUD Superior Court of Guam was connected to FY22 SUD Pima County, AZ, to discuss their RSAT programs.

Remediation plans include PMO-approved resources, tools, and mentoring by a peer of the auditor or PRC staff. After referrals from the PMO, the PRC engaged in five remediation cases. One was concluded during this period.

The overall goal for the quarterly networking hour is to enhance the TTA available through individual calls by offering peer learning opportunities for discussions on specific topics across grant programs, facilitating peer connections, preparing cohorts for evaluations and sustainability, and distilling lessons learned. This was the second quarterly networking session for the year. Grantees discussed grant deliverables, training opportunities, available resources, and shared experiences related to their grants. Additionally, there was a question-and-answer session during the meeting.

The overall goal for the quarterly networking hour is to enhance the TTA available through individual calls by offering peer learning opportunities for discussions on specific topics across grant programs, facilitating peer connections, preparing cohorts for evaluations and sustainability, and distilling lessons learned. This was the second quarterly networking session for the year. Grantees provided introductions of themselves and their CSCR projects. The TTA team introduced the topic of data and evaluation and best practices for collecting data for their CSCR projects.

The overall goal for the quarterly networking hour is to enhance the TTA available through individual calls by offering peer learning opportunities for discussions on specific topics across grant programs, facilitating peer connections, preparing cohorts for evaluations and sustainability, and distilling lessons learned. This was the first quarterly networking session for the year.
