Robert Sullivan from Johnson County reached out to Mike Wilson on 11/20 about updating their cost-benefit tools. Johnson County has not used with the tools in the past six months, in part because no one is comfortable making changes to the existing models. Johnson County would like additional training on the tools and are interested in adapting the existing tools to a web-based interface.

The goal of this project is the research the Consent2Share open source project (http://wiki.siframework.org/SAMHSA+Consent2Share+Project and http://obhita.github.io/Consent2Share/) and determine its viability in the justice-health information sharing space. Staff will also produce a white paper on the subject.

The NCCPA asked NCPC to support with materials its 2015 annual training conference November 16-19, 2015 in Carolina Beach, NC. Although there is not a theme for the conference their focus will be on "refuse to be a victim."

PBSS team received email on 8/5/15 indicating that the Vermont PDMP needed assistance with the PBSS SAS code that we had sent them previously. Lee Panas and Erin Doyle (PBSS programmers) exchanged emails with the VT PDMP to resolve their questions

CSG Justice Center staff hosted an exhibitor table for two days at the Illinois Association of Problem-Solving Courts Association Training Conference in October 2015. Staff responded to inquiries from teams from across Illinois, provided marketing materials for curriculum products, and distributed CSG Justice Center materials.

CSG Justice Center Staff hosted an exhibitor table at the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) Annual Training Conference in Washington, DC in July of 2015. Staff hosted a table for six days and responded to inquiries from attendees, marketed the Curriculum and associated materials, and distributed materials.

FOP 2015 National Conference to take place in Pittsburgh, PA August 9-13, 2015. This conference is expecting over 140 exhibitors, members and guests. NCPC was asked to exhibit at this conference. Since this is our target audience for this grant, this conference was the perfect opportunity to connect with law enforcement officers.

NCPC was asked to support the Pennsylvania Crime Prevention Officer's Association Crime Prevention Symposium to take place September 14-16, 2015 in Harrisburg, PA. This state crime prevention association has been inactive for two years and is just starting back up. They want to make this first symposium after a two year absence very successful. This symposium also has the support of the PA Office of the Attorney General.

The City of Las Vegas Municipal Court Pretrial Services Unit is seeking training and technical assistance on the use and research of evidence based practices within its pretrial processes. The primary focus of this request is in regards to the implementation and interim use of the PSA-Court risk assessment tool for making Municipal Court pretrial release decisions. It is also our intention to develop and simultaneously conduct our own research and evidence-based data collection, to later be used in the formation of a locally validated version of this assessment tool.
