During the month of May 2024, 93 new SLATT user accounts were created. Of the new accounts, 41 were approved as SLATT direct accounts, 41 were created via Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) program credentials, and 11 were created via Federal Bureau of Investigation, Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal, program credentials.

The subaward criteria will focus on leadership staff with lived and/or shared experiences with the criminal justice system and the community they serve. This elevates the voices of those best positioned to educate policymakers

This criterion strengthens communities by focusing on reentry community and faith-based organizations (CFBOs) that can best benefit from TA, subawards and oversight to improve their organizational development

FY 23 Grantee Burns Paiute Dissemination of Probation Resources; grantee was given 12 different resources for probation services to include policies and procedures, confidentiality agreements, community service, and other case management tools. Also shared some resources for code development. Total of 3 emails sent with 12 resources.
TA Request Summary
The Southern Ute Public Defender has a new staff position of an Assistant and has asked for some assistance in finding training for the new staff member. The request is for not necessarily DV cases, but criminal cases in general.
Intended Outcome
To received resources or training that will aid in the requested outcome of training a new staff assistant in the Public Defender Office for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
