Provision of Resources/Systems

The Portland Police Bureau's CTI project POCs requested model policies on community engagement. PPB's goal is to create a robust policy on community engagement that goes beyond what many department's currently have. The CTI project team identified numerous policies, manuals, and educational materials which could be of use to PPB. These resources were sent on April 23, 2024.

BPD requested TTA for resources related to trauma-informed follow-up after critical incidents. This asked stemmed from an operation that resulted in the arrest of over 40 people with ties to a violent gang operating out of an apartment building.

Meeting with Lake County IL state attorneys office

Based on the sites desire for supplemental funding while they await local funding decisions, and in anticipation of end of BJA funding, TTA provider supported site by researching smaller amount grant opportunities.

Assisted site in developing internal process for distributing stipends as payment for interns who were not able to be hired directly by healthcare partners due to liability issues.

The NTCRC has developed a relationship with the newly-formed Council of State Treatment Court Coordinators (CSTCC) in an effort to become more attuned to the needs of the treatment court field at the state and local levels. Collaboration has also included development of a webpage for this agency, hosted by the NTCRC, and progress towards a discussion platform for agency members.

The IACP TTA Lead discussed the no-cost extension application process and shared the PowerPoint from a Peer-to-Peer cohort meeting that discussed project sustainability
