IIR conducted a nonfatal shooting assessment for PSP Nashville during this reporting period to support the Metropolitan Nashville PD’s efforts to reduce gun violence and enhance its capacity to conduct comprehensive nonfatal shooting investigations. The assessment team conducted an on-site visit for the nonfatal shooting assessment in September. This visit included interviews with Metropolitan Nashville PD’s command, investigative, patrol, crime lab, crime analysis, intelligence, victim/witness, and training staff members.
