2023 American Jail Association Conference Presentation: AHP assisted in the coordination and development of the "One Small Jail's Journey to Provide Medication-assisted Treatment Services: How St. Louis County Minnesota's innovative approaches supported cross-section collaboration and improved practice" presentation. Virtual meeting to touch base with PRC Partners, do some strategic planning for key stakeholder communications and outreach. Also, identify with partners the most important messages for the field and the means of communicating them as we seek to reignite commitment to sexual safety in confinement during PREA's 20th anniversary year.
Conduct an expansive review of several standards selected from recent audits (past 18 months) where the auditor has been identified as not following the methodology described in the standards and/or the Auditor Handbook. Documentation review cases have been identified through the Peer Review program, Auditor Feedback received through the website, and/or audits flagged by PRC staff or partners as significantly lacking information or containing incorrect information.
Audit Oversight team operate the Peer Mentor program to develop mentors out of established Peer Reviewers.
During this period, four peer reviewers were assigned to review two audits (two reviewers per audit). The audits were selected for peer review by the PMO. The auditors were notified of their selection and given thirty days to upload documentation in support of their audit findings for standards 115.33. 115.41, 115.42, and 115.53. The peer reviewers completed a conflict of interest assessment and signed confidentiality agreements prior to receiving access to their assigned peer review audit.
Rural Learning Community opportunity, June 13 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. ET, focused on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in rural jails and included information about rural-specific support and resources as well as highlighted work being done in Juneau County, Wisconsin and Boone County, Illinois.

Attended virtual summit to gather information and resources on current trainings related to School Safety and Law Enforcement.
IIR attended the Alabama Association of School Resource Officers Leadership Conference. At this conference IIR: met with potential, national level SMEs; promoted the new STOP School Violence Law Enforcement program, and conducted an environmental scan of resources and trainings available and presented to the field.
Vera TTA coaches conducted a monthly check-in with LCC CAREERRs grantee to discuss program challenges.
