RED-T Advisory Board Meeting #2
The Advisory Board members were asked for their thoughts on the second draft of the Racial Equity in Deflection Framework document (part of a larger toolkit, called the RED-T)
The Community Violence Intervention Conference is the largest convening exclusively dedicated to CVI in the country, attracting more than 800 experts—both national and international—to discuss the impact of this lifesaving work. The goal of the conference is to bring together leading experts, advocates, and practitioners to share insights, struggles, and opportunities in a communal space devoted to advancing the field of community violence intervention.
As defined in the grant deliverables, the NTCRC will convene virtual regional meetings with BJA grantees. The subject of these meetings is to be determined, but planning for this deliverable is continuing.

The Hate Crimes TTA team held a kickoff call with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (SO). The purpose of the call was to build rapport with site representatives, learn about Flagler County SO’s Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act project activities, identify any challenges and emerging issues, and begin to scope out the site’s TTA needs.
