SCF Resource Center 'Overload' presentation and discussion
BJA requested to submit a panel to the IACP conference in October on the work of Place Network Investigations that SPI sites are conducting. Place Network Investigations is a promising strategy to reduce persistent violent crime problems while empowering resilient communities. This approach is rooted in science and Problem Oriented Policing and emphasizes a collaborative approach to identifying and responding to social networks operating in high-crime places.

Tucson, AZ SPI requested assistance to attend Pycon in Pittsburgh, PA in May 2024. The conference attendance is to increase the site team’s understanding of Python, a programming language they are using to build out automated tasks for their SPI efforts.
