The Fairfax, Virginia Independent Police Auditor requested a use of force assessment for the police department regarding a disproportionate number of force incidents against minority populations. This request was denied.
The US Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Michigan requested Command Presence's "Dynamics of Officer and Citizen Encounters" training. This request was postponed until BJA NTTAC Option Year 3.
The Miami, Florida Police Department requested training on the topic of use of force. The requestor withdrew their request.
The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Connecticut requested a one-day "Characteristics of Armed Offenders Training." Richard Hobson was selected to fulfill this request and delivered the training to 58 law enforcement representatives on June 12, 2019.
BJA NTTAC provided support for Jackson PSP participants to attend the International Homicide Investigators Association Advanced Homicide/Violent Crime Court in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 11 - 15, 2019.
The Rapid City, South Dakota Police department are requesting assistance from Polis Solutions’ T3 – Tact, Tactics, and Trust training. The engagement was transferred to a new contract.
The City of Newburgh, New York Police Department requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to host T3 Trainings offered by POLIS Solutions. Polis Solutions was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a three day onsite visit with the agency in July 2019. T3 Tact, Tactics and Trust offered by POLIS Solutions to include the Command Level Training, the one-day Basic Course and the three-day Train the Trainer Course.
