University Park, Maryland Police Department is requesting Insight Policing: Core Skills - Conflict Resolution for Law Enforcement training. This training will allow each officer will develop a skill set that will help them do the following: gain control in conflict situations; stay safe with minimal force; prevent escalation; calm people down; encourage cooperation and voluntary compliance; efficiently and effectively solve problems; reduce litigation and reduce stress.
