"Objective 4: Establish core competencies and standards for developing hiring materials and resources for CAs and DOC leadership to assist in hiring qualified analysts and for trainings CAs in software tools, key methodological topics, and data sharing.    In April, CSG Justice Center staff continued developing the first three self-guided online courses for the Virtual Academy program.

"Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support. (Developing Promotional Materials and Conference Appearances)  As detailed under Objective 1, CSG Justice Center staff met with the National Conference of State Legislatures in April and submitted proposals for two upcoming conferences hosted by the American Probation and Parole Association and the International Community Justice Association.  "

"Objective 9: Provide structured, ongoing support to up to 15 Category 1 grantee states and support the field. (IG States/ Vendor and Automation)Â Â In Arizona, CSG Justice Center staff conducted an onboarding session with the Tucson Police Department and the Globe Regional Justice Court.

"Objective 7: Facilitate the adoption and implementation of Justice Counts in additional states. In New York, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to introduce them to the project.   In Puerto Rico, the Department of Corrections reconnected with Justice Counts via email, as they are finally ready to share more data in Publisher.  "

"Objective 9: Provide structured, ongoing support up to 15 Category 1 grantee states and support the field.  In March, CSG Justice Center staff worked with SecurManage to create a demo account that they could use in a presentation to the Rhode Island Department of Corrections and that will be useful for CSG Justice Center staff in future presentations.   In Arizona, CSG Justice Center staff were on site in Navajo, Apache, and Gila Ccounties for a site visit.
