The Socorro, Texas Police Department requested training related to intelligence gathering methods for first responders, crime analysis, anti-terrorism, and infrastructure protection. The request was referred to the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR), who will be the primary TTA provider for hosting 4 regional SLATT trainings in late 2018, including one session in the DFW metro area of Texas.

The Baltimore, Maryland Police Department (PD) requested technical assistance to assess and improve it's crime-fighting strategies and tactics. The PD identified Sean Malinowski and his team of subject matter experts as a technical assistance provider. BJA NTTAC worked with Dr. Malinowski to develop a Statement of Work (SOW) for a new engagement, and technical assistance was delivered between January and June 2018.

We are looking for training for our internal investigators on domestic violence and sexual misconduct training primarily in the area of conducting interviews with the subject, victim, witness and all other concerned parties involved in one of these investigations. We are needing at least eight (8) hours of training to be conducted several times during the year for all of our sworn supervisors, Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) Investigators and any other Office personnel that may be assigned to the PSB.
