The NTCRC co-directors are currently working with NPC Research and the NY State Treatment Courts to provide technical assistance to develop a learning tool for adult drug courts who complete the NPC Research BeST assessment. The NTCRC will be facilitating this process and conducting research.

CSG Justice Center staff conducted technical assistance to Nebraska through a TA call held on 7/19 and 7/26 with five members from the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NCDS), including the Deputy Director – Programs; Assistant Deputy Director – Reentry; Case Management Coordinator; Assistant Deputy Director of Classification; and Reentry Program Manager. CSG staff planned for follow-up outreach to Cabinet agencies, Reentry Taskforce and Working Group launches, and landscape analysis.

CSG Justice Center staff provided technical assistance to Missouri via an email on 7/17/24 to MO DOC to set a call to discuss progress of Reentry 2030 goals; the meeting took place in August. CSG Justice Center research team spoke with MO DOC and they are making progress on what will be helpful for them for data and they are progressing to identify actionable and measurable data to support Missouri's goals. Mapping of collateral consequences by region is underway, and findings will be presented to Missouri upon completion.

This webinar will introduce participants to the ways in which decision making occurs for both emerging adults (those 18-25 years old) and maturing adults (those 26-40 years old); how substances interact with the brain; the distinctions between substance use and substance use disorders; and how substance use impacts the decision-making process, assessments of risk and reward, working memory, and communication.

NCORJ hosted an information session for the subaward solicitation to support the development of new restorative justice programs or the expansion of existing restorative justice programs. The goal of the program implementation subaward is to increase access to restorative justice opportunities and services across different points of the criminal legal system continuum.

"The Community of Practice (COP) series is an ongoing TTA resource for CRIT grantees, led by IACP and in collaboration with project partners. This series of virtual meeting sessions will focus on different topics and allow grantee sites to interact with one another and exchange peer-to-peer.
