As an OVC training and technical assistance (TTA) provider for Enhanced Collaborative Model Human Trafficking Task Forces (ECM HTTFs), the IACP works with each ECM HTTF to help identify and address their TTA needs. A grant deliverable self assessment questionnaire was given to all ECM task forces to complete. This questionnaire was created by IACP to identify and address task force TTA needs to support task forces in completing the requirements of their OJP-funded ECM law enforcement award. Unique surveys were created for each solicitation fiscal year and purpose area.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), in collaboration with John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Palm Beach County Human Trafficking Task Force, and North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force, hosted a webinar for Enhanced Collaborative Model (ECM) human trafficking task forces on multidisciplinary information-sharing in anti-human trafficking task forces.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), in collaboration with AEquitas, hosted a webinar for Enhanced Collaborative Model (ECM) human trafficking task forces on responding to sex trafficking of men and boys. This webinar provided human trafficking task forces with strategies to better identify male victims of sex trafficking, implement specific trauma-informed responses, and effectively collect evidence and interview victims leading to successful prosecutions.

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) hosted a webinar for Enhanced Collaborative Model (ECM) human trafficking task forces on the role of data and analysis in Human Trafficking initiatives. Ongoing assessment of task force effectiveness is a critical activity for all Enhanced Collaborative Model human trafficking task forces.

On Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) hosted a webinar for Enhanced Collaborative Model (ECM) human trafficking task forces on task force sustainability planning. Developing and implementing a sustainability plan is a critical element in achieving task force success and longevity, and is a requirement of the ECM program.
