The request is prompted by the Supreme Court decision about concealed carry for weapons. Hawaii has always had very restricted gun laws, never concealed carry. The department is trying to figure out both on the political front and police department front how to get into compliance. Looking for assistance with processing current backlog of about 900 permits. Need to put everything together into a shared database. Is there a federal database that the requestor needs to be interfacing with? Are there federal rules?

West Virginia Public Defender Services requested technical assistance to develop a concept of operations (ConOps) document to support the implementation of a statewide integrated data-sharing system across West Virginia. The SEARCH Group, Inc. was selected to fulfill this request and delivered an outline of the ConOps document as well as a summary report in January 2022.

The Harris County, Texas Sheriff’s Office, as part of the Harris County National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) site, requested travel support for representatives to attend the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys’ Safety and Justice Leadership Institute. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for one representative from the Harris County PSP site to attend the event from December 5 - 6 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.The Harris County PSP requested travel support for representatives to attend the APA Safety and Justice Leadership Institute.
