The PRC will operate an assistance request form on its website and will respond to assistance requests by engaging with jurisdictions, assessing what services are appropriate, and meeting the needs of the requesting organization as resources allow. All data regarding the interaction will be tracked in the PRC's information database. Full assistance cases will be reported as individual TTAs. The PRC processed/closed 33 Request for Assistance cases between January - June 2022.
Webinar Title: Native Veterans Project: Protecting those who Protected Us
The Native Veterans Project is a BJA-funded project on creating a veterans clinic in
Indian Country. There is limited access to legal assistance by low-income individuals,
including veterans, appearing in tribal courts. A tribal legal clinic model will focus on
and address the needs of Native American veterans as a high volume of requests from
veterans seeking solutions to their legal issues. The clinic will use medical-legal
Monthly meetings with the Veterans Project consultants and NAICJA staff for the development of the Veterans Project Curriculum.

To fund speakers presenting content on emerging topics at statewide or regional conferences in part of the Justice For Vets participation through VTTA (Veterans Training and Technical Assistance).
Two-day, in-person mentor professional development training featuring five training sessions, with topics focusing on the mentor program and its volunteers in veterans treatment courts. All sessions will include a 45-minutes to a one-hour-long presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
