Patti Powers and Julie Valentine, conducted a pre-recorded presentations for the IAFN National Conference entitled: What about Justice? Fostering Collaboration between Prosecutors and SANEs to Improve Criminal Case Outcomes
Objective 1: Develop standards for local jurisdictions and state criminal justice agencies that will result in data being accurately and comprehensively aggregated at the state and national levels. In September, the last three metrics committees met to discuss and vote on recommendations obtained from the Public Feedback period. CSG Justice Center staff also caught up with committee members who were not able to attend the meetings to include their feedback.
Priority Area 1: Work with state agencies to receive and analyze data to identify drivers of Arkansas's high recidivism rates and understand how recidivism contributes to overall crime and incarceration rates.

Objective 6: Provide intensive TA to 10 states, supporting the adoption and use of the Justice Counts metrics to drive decision-making. CSG Justice Center staff completed outreach to participating agencies via email to include an update on progress on Justice Counts participation per each state.??
Objective 5: Develop and run a national campaign to educate criminal justice agency leaders, policymakers, and the public about the Justice Counts metrics. CSG Justice Center staff also worked internally to develop data validation standards for Publisher and to improve the internal tracking the data being shared.??
Objective 2: Develop tools and make them available to states and other interested jurisdictions. Work for this objective is now complete with the development and implementation of the Justice Counts Publisher.?

Objective 9: Provide structured, ongoing support up to 15 Category 1 grantee states and support the field. (IG States/ Vendor and Automation)?
In Arizona, CSG Justice Center staff met with the Coconino County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to configure metrics and add data to Publisher. CSG Justice Center staff also met with the Navajo County Criminal Justice Coordinator to discuss county wide data efforts.??
