Stephanie (co-chair of Victim Services Subcommittee) and the Site Coordinator, Mike Kelly, would like to host a TA event to have a SAKI TTA team explain the progress of SAKI and provide maybe an hour/hour and a half on the neurobiology of trauma to better prepare them to work with victims.

WV would like to find out if any other sites have a centralized storage for reported SAKs and if so, do any of those do a “direct deposit of kits” directly from the hospital not having the SAK pass through law enforcement.

I was raped in 1996 by multiple men. 2 of the 3 were caught and sentenced to 40-60 years. 3rd guy that raped me was never caught. I believe he just found me on Facebook. How do I obtain my rape kit and case file?

Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
