This monograph will summarize the results of the Painting the Current Picture survey, distributed in 2023 for data on calendar year 2022.

As of 9/30/24, roughly 80% of the monograph has been drafted. We are in the process of writing up the "issues to consider" section and a section comparing the findings of this report to the PCP examining 2019 data to discuss what has changed and remained the same over time.

Assist BJA with identifying public safety agencies and professional organizations to support the Global priorities.

Contribute to the online content pertaining to DOJ’s [U.S. Department of Justice] Global activities, products, publications, and other identified justice information sharing-related content.

Develop publications resulting from Global task teams’ work, including print and electronic materials, document printing and distribution, online seminars (webinars), and other tools.

Collect information from Global task teams, as well as complementary initiatives as assigned, that contribute to Global and BJA priorities.

Plan and coordinate with governmental and private agencies to support national initiatives. Serve as a liaison between Global and other government and private agencies and information sharing partners to ensure the planning, coordination, and pursuit of common goals, including the support of national initiatives and regional/national events that promote information sharing. Attend national partner events, conferences, and meetings to stay abreast of national initiatives, trending priorities, and emerging issues relevant to the work of Global.

Collaborate with BJA, its contractor, and Global/CICC membership to coordinate program design and delivery of services, including training and technical assistance.

Document and present Global- and CICC-identified priorities as recommendations to BJA and the attorney general (AG) for approval for Global/CICC focus and development of resources using a structured Priority Recommendation Form and a submission protocol. Ensure continued progress and consistent direction of approved priorities.
