Objective 5: Develop and run a national campaign to educate criminal justice agency leaders, policymakers, and the public about the Justice Counts metrics. CSG Justice Center staff also worked internally to develop data validation standards for Publisher and to improve the internal tracking the data being shared.??

Objective 6: Provide intensive TA to 10 states, supporting the adoption and use of the Justice Counts metrics to drive decision-making. CSG Justice Center staff completed outreach to participating agencies via email to include an update on progress on Justice Counts participation per each state.??

In September, round 1 briefs (GA, MO, RI) were approved by BJA and the RI brief was published on the JRI website. Furthermore, CSG Justice Center staff continued to work internally with leadership on revisions for the round 2 briefs (VT, MT, WY). CJI and CSG Justice Center staff met to discuss updates on the state briefs and JRI website updates.

September 11: CSG Justice Center staff conducted an anonymous focus group with individuals incarcerated at the Northeast Arkansas Community Correction Center to learn about their experience at the facility and their thoughts on the programming provided. (10 participants representing 1 agency)
