We are requesting support to train approximately 132 detectives with iKat Limited. Through the course of the training, iKat will help us identify a cadre of BPD trainers that will go through skills development with iKat so we are able to have a sustainable training program for the future.
We want to stand up a criminal analyst position to help drive decision making with regard to patrol vectoring, hiring and special projects, as well as policy development. We are hoping to engage the services of Jessica Herbert from Idea Analytics, a current BJANTTAC contractor, to help develop the job description, train the prospective candidate and assist in obtaining the necessary tools.

The Eloy Police Department requested support to send two investigators to become Certified Users of Cellebrite. the Certification is needed in order to use and testify to the date retrieved when equipment is used if needed in a courtroom case. BJA NTTAC provided support for two officers to attend the Cellebrite training in November 2021.
Birmingham, Alabama Municipal Court requested assistance with securing speakers for their 6th Annual Municipal Court Summit. BJA NTTAC denied this request.
Hopefully with these TTA we can get new and improved training for our deputies.
Sault Sainte Marie City, Michigan Police Department requested training from Command Presence. This request was denied.
Jamestown Staffing requested information regarding how they could assist with reentry efforts in their community. BJA NTTAC shared relevant resources and referred the requestor to the National Institute of Corrections and to the Montgomery County Office of Reentry.
The Jackson County, Oregon Sheriff's Office requested technical assistance for their crime analysis department to receive an assessment in order to evaluate and implement best practices. OnPoint Analytics was selected to provide TTA.
