The Chicago Police Department (PD), as part of the Chicago Violence Reduction Network (VRN) Site, is requesting assistance for a comprehensive community immersion program to rebuild trust between the community and law enforcement. The Chicago PD has requested the Policing at the Speed of Trust and Leading at the Speed of Trust hybrid train-the-trainer course to develop 13 law enforcement officers and 13 community members as training facilitators. These 26 facilitators, with assistance from FranklinCovey, will then train 100 law enforcement officers and 100 community members.

The Wilmington VRN Site has requested the Homicide Investigation Management Training for up to 42 investigators and forensic examiners from the Wilmington Police Department and neighboring jurisdictions.

The Newark Police Department (PD), as part of the Newark VRN site, requests the Blue Courage Academy for up to 30 participants. The Blue Courage Academy includes the Blue Courage: The Heart and Mind of the Guardian course and the Train-the-Trainer certification course. The Blue Courage Academy will provide self-improvement, increased engagement, stress management, development of resilience, and improvement of the overall health and well-being of all employees in the department.

A 5-day certification and re-certification training by the Community Corrections Institute (CCI) on the Natural Response Control Tactics (NRCT). The 5 day (back to back) training being requested is training for trainers.

We provide a 40k Law Enforcement training facility in Florida equipped with a non-lethal shoot house, mat room, laser target, and non-lethal range. This facility is used exclusively by local law enforcement for training. We want to expand free use to additional counties within our area. I would like to cover operating expenses and a safety officer as well.
