The San Carlos Apache Tribe requested information around funding for equipment for their law enforcement personnel.
Officer Rich Craig from Struthers Police Department requested information about funding opportunities. Officer Craig is interested in developing an small unmanned aircraft systems (SUAS) program for their department, upgrading their communications system, and upgrading their police gun range. The coordinator directed Officer Craig to the Ohio State Administering Agency (SAA), and provided contact information for the individual within the SAA who could assist his agency with JAG funding.
Prevention Partners requested information about resources/training/programs to help the juvenile justice community better screen, assess, and treat youth offenders who have committed sexual offenses.
The Iowa Department of Correctional Services requested information on Blue Courage trainings. BJA NTTAC directed them to Blue Courage, Inc.
Grant Writing Training Inquiry from Missouri State Police.
Jennie Singer from Sacramento State University called seeking resources for a current research study. Ms. Singer is evaluating a new rehabilitation program in use at Sacramento County Probation. The data she is analyzing includes a field for reason for return to custody, and she would like to be able to code the new crimes by severity. She is looking for best practices in coding crimes by severity. The coordinator reached out to Ed Banks are BJA, who recommended connecting Ms. Singer to Dr. Faye Taxman from George Mason University.

Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency requested resources for cold case investigation training.
Kent County (MI) Sheriff's Office requested resources for hostage negotiator training for correctional officers.
