During the recent TTA Site Support Visit, site practitioners requested information on funding opportunites to support additional public safety cameras. The IACP forwarded the grantee site a relevant opportunity from Police Grants Help.
The IACP planned a joint TTA Site Support Visit to the BCJI FY21 Homestead grantee site and the BCJI FY21 Miami grantee site, and conducted the visit from April 19 - 20. During the visit, the IACP attended the Homestead shooting review and Miami-Dade County shooting review, facilitated a meeting between the two BCJI programs and the Miami-Dade County GVI program, toured both projects' geographic focus areas, attended an HBVI meeting, and shadowed the Homestead Team as they performed custom notifications.
The site requested that IACP re-send Action Plan resources to guide Action Plan development. IACP forwarded the review tool and guidance tool.
Site practitioners requested that IACP provide a recommendation to the Mayor's Office for a full-time site coordinator to oversee the project. IACP worked with the site to develop language and submitted our recommendation.

The site asked if IACP could connect them with Life Coach training for Violence Interrupters. The IACP offered to look into the Life Coach training the Baltimorre grantee site uses, and directed them to a number of potential trainers.
The grantee site is working to combat nuisance properties, and based on the TTA Site Support Visit the IACP recommended meeting with BCJI Consultant Mark Manning. The IACP BCJI TTA Team hosted the meeting on 5/18/2023.

IACP suggested that the site assess whether there is local conflict mediation programming to complement the site's GVI efforts. The IACP performed a scan, but was not able to locate any relevant groups. However, IACP linked them to similar programming at other BCJI sites, and provided additional information.
The IACP facilitated an open disucssion on how group members train front-line CVI public safety professionals, and shared findings from a survey on what data systems group members use.
