Enhancing Conviction Integrity through Forensics Webinar- June 1st. The presenter summarized strategies to center the victimÕs experience of the crime throughout a trial and emphasized ways to promote fair jury selection. By focusing the juryÕs attention on the victimÕs experience, prosecutors help jurors render a fair and just verdict.
Conviction Integrity Webinar - May 30, 2023. This event was part of the Enhancing Conviction Integrity through Forensics webinar series. Presenters summarized the right to confrontation under Crawford v. WA and its progeny and emphasized forfeiture by wrongdoing as a tool to hold suspects accountable when witnesses are unavailable for trial due to the suspectÕs wrongful conduct.

TMG will maintain the National Steering Committee for this initiative, composed of twelve
members with salient voices, including training experts and representatives from the partner
organizations named above. The member list will be reviewed periodically and updated as
needed to ensure proper representation and professional diversity. Any potential member
changes will be presented to BJA for feedback and final approval. Steering committee members
will be considered for and potentially used as subject matter experts on various aspects of the
