The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. City School District Of The City Of Niagara Falls was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with City School District Of The City Of Niagara Falls since 10/28/2022, with their intake meeting occurring on 11/22/2022. There have been 5 additional follow-up meetings and 4 occurred during the current reporting period.

On June 22, 2023, a grantee orientation webinar was held. Newly selected grantees participated in an orientation session designed to provide them with vital information regarding grant admin, reporting, and future funding opportunities.

A Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Capacity Building (CVIPICB) Informational Webinar was held on April 27, 2023. This event provided Community Violence Intervention (CVI) community-based organizations with relevant information as to how they can apply for capacity building funding as part of this grant program (bitters webinar).

As noted in Objective 1:
• NSI Indicator Review Project—During this reporting period, IIR finalized contracts with NCITE and START, hosted kick-off calls with the team, and began hosting biweekly status calls. In June 2023, NCITE and START began their research efforts. More activity will be reported in the next reporting period.

The Q&A session about the PREA Online Audit System provided a chance for participants to ask any questions they had. Additionally, the OAS team offered updates on the latest features that were introduced in the previous quarter, and what users can expect to see in the coming months.
