"CSG TA coaches met with Ann Adalist-Estrin from the National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated from Rutgers University to discuss the current deliverables and expanding to additional deliverables, and objectives to pursue the OJJDP SCA Children of the Incarcerated funding.
Final bi-monthly virtual meeting held in 2023. The bi-monthly meetings are a new addition are meant to keep members and observers updated on GAC/GESC projects in between regularly scheduled in-person meetings.
CSG Justice Center staff and OJJDP program managers hosted a year-end meeting to discuss performance measures, progress reports, and general information about the Children of Incarcerated Parents (CIP) program. There was also allotted time to ask OJJDP questions and share information with new and existing CIP grantees.

LISC was asked by Senator Gillibrand's office to take part in a webinar describing best practices in applying for federal grants and to share examples of school-based CVI program supports available (both grants and technical assistance). The webinar was hosted by the Senator's office and was attended by about 500 school officials throughout the state.
The IACP worked with BJA to coordinate and host a virtual rountable discussion on community violence intervention collaboration with law enforcement.
The Rhode Island Public Safety Grant Administration Office has reached out for assistance with the development, distribution, and analysis of a survey. The survey aims to gather information on the comprehensive needs of the state's criminal justice system. Rhode Island plans to distribute this statewide survey to gain a better understanding of the crime trends in their communities. What makes this survey unique is that it includes community members and those with lived experience, such as survivors and justice-impacted individuals.
Premier leaders and practitioners from across the justice landscape met October 8, 2019 Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative (Global) Advisory Committee (GAC, Committee) Meeting at the Office of Justice Programs offices. To maximize resources and provide opportunities for Global engagement by an even greater range of subject-matter experts (SME), the majority of hands-on Committee efforts are conducted virtually. However, once a year, this collaborative Federal Advisory Committee, under the long-standing guidance and support of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), U.S.
LISC participated in TTA partnership meetings throughout the course of this grant period with the National Center of School Safety (NCSS) and the Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR). These meetings provided an opportunity to familiarize with TTA priorities, requests from the field and upcoming activities.
