"The CSG Justice Center TA provider conducted an in-person site visit with the grantee. Goals during the site visit included the following:
· Discuss how Guara Bí can support Puerto Rico DCR as their partner on the grant; discuss Puerto Rico DCR’s role versus Guara Bí’s role
· Strengthen collaboration with Department of Corrections
· Tour the correctional facility; observe referral, screening, and programmatic processes
· Meet with staff to learn about experiences in the program
RI International provided grantees with guidance and best practices for completing a scan of their crisis response system to determine what services are available for people in their jurisdiction who are reentering the community. Grantees learned the benefits of using this information to create reentry plans that connect youth and adults reentering the community to services that offer crisis stabilization.
