Site Visit Meeting with Louisville Criminal Justice Commission (10/12/2023). In Session 3 of this community of practice, participants learned how to conduct an meaningful program evaluation even in the absence of an evaluation partner to objectively evaluate program success. Covered topics included designing a program evaluation plan, data collection techniques and data analysis.

During this session, CSG Justice Center staff and CEPP will provide an overview of gender-responsive services and programming and interventions that can have an impact on the Stepping Up Four Key Measures and racial equity. CSG Justice Center and CEPP staff will facilitate conversation with counties about interventions that are having an impact on the Four Key Measures and their available SMA data related to the Key Measures and racial equity indicators.

In this session, CSG Justice Center staff will welcome additional participants to the CoP. CSG Justice Center staff and the Center for Effective Public Policy (CEPP) will provide an orientation or refresher on applying the Stepping Up framework to address racial equity. The session will also discuss identifying and serving familiar faces populations, referencing CSG Justice Center resources such as States Supporting Familiar Faces and high-needs populations work and implementing gender-responsive services as part of their programming.

July-December 2023: On October 12, we received an applilcation seeking On-Demand TTA services. Specifically, they request subject matter expert assistance in designing and implementing a training curriculum for this newly created defense college. BJA has approved this application.
