Penetration testing by the US DOJ in anticipation of possible federal use of the NDI fulfilled a task complimentary to the maintenance of the NDI, and informative to the RFP process. The US Department of Justice (DOJ) Justice Management Division (JMD) engaged Synack, Inc. to perform a penetration test for their applications. The testing was performed on specific data structures and data management functions of the NDI, between June 08, 2023 - June 18, 2023.

The presentation highlighted ATJRC's free Training and Technical Assistance Services and the Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation Purpose Area funding, including the different purpose areas and some of the examples for each purpose area, noted this funding is available to all Federally Recognized Tribes.

Webinar in collaboration with COSSUP, Altarum, Fox Valley NCJTC, Tanana Chiefs Conference, Alaska Behavioral Health, Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Southcentral Foundation, Volunteers of America and Alaska Tribal Justice Resource Center. This panel presented on current Peer Recovery Support Services in each region, in addition Jennifer Galvin presented on the process to become certified in Alaska to be a Peer Recovery Support Services Specialist.

NCJFCJ arranged a call with the SAA for North Carolina and she invited a colleague to participate in a call to discuss North Carolina's Byrne SCIP plans. NCJFCJ shared links and resources regarding a number of initiatives the NC is possibly interested in and we offered TTA to further explore opportunities for the use of Byrne SCIP funds.

The NTCRC operates several email inboxes for staff and designated projects. Staff field inquiries from treatment court practitioners as well as monitoring inbox-specific inquiries regarding the NTCRC, Painting the Current Picture survey, and Drug Court Review journal. Inquiries range from single-response questions to more labor-intensive continuous assistance or researching targeting information. Response times range from minutes to days depending on the level of inquiry.

Following the passage of LB50 in June 2023, CJI continued to provide support to stakeholders in Nebraska, primarily through the development of educational materials related to LB50 and the policies included. CJI will not be providing direct implementation technical assistance in Nebraska, as this was not requested by justice partners and state leaders, but CJI has been involved in developing materials to help Nebraska stakeholders with their implementation process.
