The NDCRC planned to attend the NADCP RISE20 conference in Anaheim, California May 26-30, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the conference was moved to a virtual platform. The NDCRC received four complimentary registrations accompanying our virtual booth registration. This allowed our two directors, integrated marketing and communication specialist, and program coordinator to attend the conference for free. The NDCRC sponsored six other staff members' registrations for the virtual conference at $345.00 each, for a total of $2070.00.

The NDCRC planned to attend the NADCP RISE20 conference in Anaheim, California May 26-30, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the conference was moved to a virtual platform, announced April 10, 2020. The NDCRC team was able to craft a virtual booth with our own branding and adjust media and information presentation to fit this platform. The virtual booth was staffed by four team members on a rotating basis for the duration of the conference, May 26-29. Staff were able to engage visitors in discussion about the NDCRC's vision, new website, and upcoming changes.

The 2017 National Forum on Criminal Justice: is a true partnership among policymakers, practitioners, researchers and people in the private sector who are dedicated to the ideal of equal justice for all. This conference showcases programs, research and technologies that help justice practitioners and decision makers in states, local communities and tribal nations address pressing public safety issues.

The conference provided an outstanding opportunity for you to meet fellow federal grantees from around the country and learn about best practices and promising approaches to reducing recidivism and improving outcomes for people released from prisons, jails, and juvenile correctional facilities.
