Join us for a webinar in which experts from IIR and overdose fatality review (OFR) peer mentor program leaders share their experiences supporting the growth and implementation of OFRs and serving in mentor site roles. This peer-to-peer conversation will highlight the realities faced by OFRs, site mentor experiences, and existing resources to help mentees and OFR teams navigate the complexities of implementation and expansion.

The Florida Office of the State Courts Administrator, a Category 2 COSSUP grantee, has seen many successes in their goal of enhancing and expanding evidence-based programs in existing family dependency drug courts. Notably, local circuit courts have made strides in establishing sustainable programs. Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, 5th Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County, and 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Orange County will share the challenges to sustainability and how they overcame them in this State Success webinar.
BJA’s Training and Technical Assistance Center for Data & Evaluation will be hosting a webinar providing guidance and support for COSSUP grantees as they navigate data collection and evaluation of their grant. The webinar will also provide an overview of the Evaluation Action Plan Template. Grantees will hear from two evaluators in the field on how they utilize evaluation plans and lessons they have learned.
This webinar is open to all grantees that seek to learn more about the data, evaluation, and the Evaluation Action Plan Template.

Aleut Community of Saint Paul Island is a FY24 Adult Treatment Court Grantee. TTA Coach/Wellness Court Legal Specialist Jacob Metoxen met with the HWC Team December 17, 2024: Judge Voluck, Director of Justice Merculieff, and Project Manager Conduzzi. THWC goals and overall Aleut HWC status was reviewed. With plans to start a formal HWC in an urban setting in Anchorage, the team is looking to hire a coordinator. Resources were shared. Next call will be in January 2025.
Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana is a FY24 Adult Treatment Court Grantee. TTA Coach/Wellness Court Legal Specialist Jacob Metoxen met with HWC Coordinator Kathleen Gregoire, grant writer Tina Poncho, and Judge Daniel Stretcher on November 26, 2024. This introductory call included an overview of available TTA services and review of their HWC progress and goals. Follow up occurred on November 27, 2024 that included a sharing of resources discussed during the introductory call.
TLPI's Tribal Justice TTA Project includes Objective 3 to provide and support general training on- and offsite with Task 3.4: Offer up to 5 scholarships to jurisdictions planning new treatment courts to support attendance at TLPI's annual THWC Enhancement Training. Three people were supported for the 2024 Implementation and Enhancement Training: Pine Ridge Transitional Living Program Director, Ute Tribal Public Defender, and Blackfeet Veterans Alliance Administrator.
