The JIRN DCRA TTA team provided TTA via email to about 40 different states via 76 emails. This included answering questions about DCRA and providing feedback about DCRA implementation plans and update reports, and discussing state DCRA compliance.

Hosted second quarterly convening for tribal reentry programs and programs working with Native communities. These convenings are an opportunity for grantees to meet, network, develop peer-to-peer support, discuss successes and challenges, and exchange ideas.
Discussion of behavioral health SCIP court-related opportunities; explanation of SCIP funding process
The NTCRC operates several email inboxes for staff and designated projects. Staff field inquiries from treatment court practitioners as well as monitoring inbox-specific inquiries regarding the NTCRC, Painting the Current Picture survey, and Drug Court Review journal. Inquiries range from single-response questions to more labor-intensive continuous assistance or researching targeting information. Response times range from minutes to days depending on the level of inquiry.

The US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana requested assistance with incorporating a victim witness component as part of their office Prevention and Intervention component of the PSN Strategic Plan. NCVC provided on-site training on October 12.
The US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee requested the in-person training Gangs and Guns: Making Your Firearms Case More Prosecutable, taught by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Steve Barborini and Jim Grindey.
