The grant coaches conducted a three-day site visit on March 28-30, 2023. During this site visit, coaches conducted facility leadership briefing meetings, facility tours, engaged in formal and informal interviews, reviewed policy, practices, and any documented evidence of compliance with all PREA standards and provided feedback regarding the level of readiness in each mentioned PREA Standard. Documented level of readiness within each mentioned PREA Standard. Conducted a Q & A meeting with WCJDC's 1st shift (AM) and 2nd shift (PM) staff.

Coaches have provided guidance on site goals and objectives, providing recommendations and feedback on materials and plans.

I conducted coaching calls, provided information about applying for a second no-cost extension, and provided support with issues related to false reporting. I also did an access review of their PREA educational pamphlet and discussed my suggestions with them.
During this quarter, I reconnected Somerset with Beth Layman to talk through their training needs, given the possible transformation of the jail into a "hub". We all met, and she provided a revised scope of work at the end of June.
