In March 2018, Center staff Aaron Arnold prepared and delivered a presentation at the New York Association of Drug Treatment Court Professionals Annual Training Seminar in Saratoga Springs, NY. The presentation was entitled "Teleservices: Enhancing Drug Court Operations Through Technology," and was attended by 75 people.

The session provided VTC teams with both the history and practical applications of the Veterans Justice Outreach specialists within the team.

Evan Seamone; Session Description: This interactive session will look at the evolution of Veterans Treatment Courts from the perspectives of both practitioners and the researchers, and highlight some of the emerging questions and research revolving around the development of VTCs. Additionally, this session will highlight the importance of research in program sustainability and policy development.

The conference provides training for the adult and juvenile treatment court teams located throughout the state. Kerwin Henderson of AU presented at a session titled, Veterans Courts National Research. Participants heard about current research regarding veteran treatment courts and will have the opportunity to ask questions about the results of American University's recently-concluded survey.

assistance in the facilitation of four focus groups during the Association of
Women Executives in Corrections (AWEC) annual meeting, which is co-located
with the Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice (WWICJJ) annual
conference.
