Justice Counts presentation to the New Mexico Detention Administrators and County Finance Affiliates Conference to introduce the project and discuss ways that Justice Counts can support local efforts.

June 25: CSG Justice Center staff met with Jeanna Sherrill (Senior Assistant Attorney General and Task Force Designee for the Attorney General) to introduce the project and learn about her experience as a deputy prosecuting attorney, her current work as a deputy attorney general, and her insights regarding recidivism in Arkansas. (1 person representing 2 agencies)
June 24: CSG Justice Center staff attended the June meeting of the Legislative Recidivism Reduction Task Force to observe a presentation regarding community supervision by leadership at the Division of Community Corrections. (16 participants, representing 14 agencies)
June 24: CSG Justice Center Staff met with Daniel Shue (Prosecuting Attorney and Task Force Member) to introduce the project and discuss opportunities to hear insights of Arkansas's prosecuting attorneys. (1 person representing 2 agencies)
June 24: CSG Justice Center Staff met with Tammy Harris (Public Defender Commission District Manager and Task Force Member) to hear about her experience as a public defender in Arkansas and her observations as to the strengths and challenges of Arkansas's criminal justice system. June 24: CSG Justice Center Staff met with Clarke Tucker (Arkansas State Senator and Task Force Member), Ben Gilmore (Arkansas State Senator and Task Force Member), and Jamie Barker (Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders) regarding the current state of the political landscape in Arkansas, including the governor's priorities.
