H.E.A.T. (Habilitation Empowerment Accountability Therapy) is a promising substance use intervention specifically designed for young African American men. Data in Missouri shows that their drug courts are not reaching this population and they want to explore implementing H.E.A.T. more widely across the state through teleservices. Center staff worked with a representative of H.E.A.T. and the statewide drug court coordinator of Missouri, Angela Plunkett to implement this program.
