Met with site 8/12. FY20 subs are doing well, the NCE was just approved so they will be moving forward with a media campaign to support their referral program through the University of MS Medical Center. The state ME new CMS is up and running. They went from 22% of cases acceptable for upload to the CDC dashboard to now 98%! Working on closing that gap. FY22 subgrantee MS Bureau of Narcotics is still having staffing/support issues. TTA coach offered to connect site with Drug Checking for the People which works with community-based programs for drug testing.

BJA and RTI met with POC 8/6 to discuss the GAM for the FY22 award. Initial award indicated PA would be accepting 6 counties as subgrantees but only 5/6 of the interested counties applied to the RFP. POC made repeated attempts to contact county but was left unanswered. The other 5 sites have already been through an almost year long process to accept the subaward, complete the needs assessment with the TTA provider and be awarded their full funding. BJA asked if it was possible to work with another county on smaller scale and still direct extra funding to the existing sites.
