A survior reached out with the following request:
I was raped in my rented Kahuku home in Jan or Feb 1978. I was 5 months pregnant . was alone that morning with my children sleeping in another room. I was attacked by knifepoint, my belly jumped on by the rapist. I called police and was taken to Castle Hospital for a rape exam and to make sure my baby was ok. I never heard from the police department or hospital after that. I do remember a rape victim advocate checking up on me. I was clearly traumatized and this experience left me with many unsolved questions. Did they ever test the rape kit? There was the rapist Semen on me when they examined me. Did they catch my rapist? I moved away a few months after my baby was born as I could no longer live in that house I was raped in.Please help me find any information on this case before I die. I am now 65 years old and wonder everyday if this man is still raping women or is he incarcerated for some other crime?
