• Meeting with DOCR Behavioral Health Director, DOCR Clinical Administrator, Probation and Parole Supervision Director, and parole and probation program managers to discuss the role of community supervision in the FTR program.
• Meeting with DOCR Clinical Administrator to discuss FTR implementation work.
• Meeting of the justice reinvestment implementation oversight committee with members General Counsel (Office of the Governor), DOCR Director, DHS Director, DHS Director of Behavioral Health, ND Supreme Court Chief Justice and Chief Deputy Attorney General, along DOCR Behavioral Health Director, Cass County District Court Judge, ND Legislative Council Counsel, and other top level staff. The committee reviewed JR implementation progress and discussed data monitoring.
• Meeting with DOCR Behavioral Health Director and DOCR Clinical Administrator to review the vendor application and guidance for the FTR program.
• Attend the full-day Recovery Reinvented event, hosted by the Governor and First Lady, which aimed to highlight innovative practices and initiatives to eliminate the shame and stigma of addiction in North Dakota. The FTR program was officially announced at this event.
• Presented with DOCR Behavioral Health Director and DHS Behavioral Health Director about the FTR program at the first day of 2017 Annual North Dakota Behavioral Health Conference. Approximately 400 people involved in ND's behavioral health field attended this conference.
• Moderated a panel on behavioral health legislative reforms featuring HHS Senate Committee Chair, Appropriations Committee Members, and Judiciary Committee Member
• 9/1: Call with DOCR Director to check-in on the JR project and to discuss implementation plans and the state's subaward proposal.
• 9/1: Call with Senior Public Policy Analyst (Koch Companies Private Sector) to discuss JR in North Dakota and upcoming presentation at the Governor's Recovery Reinvented event.
• 9/7: Call with DOCR Administrative Director to discuss ND's category 1 subaward request.
• 9/12: Call with DOCR Clinical Director, DHS Behavioral Health Division Director, and DOCR Clinical Administrator to plan for the upcoming site visits.
• 9/15: Call with DOCR Clinical Director to prepare for the following week's meeting with probation and parole supervisors.
• 9/18: Call with DOCR Behavioral Health Director, CBHP Clinical Lead (DOCR), and IT Analyst (DOCR) to discuss monthly data monitoring metrics.
