The Urban/Manatt team developed three written products that offer the country's criminal justice and Medicaid agencies information to help the justice-involved population receive health coverage and coordinated and comprehensive care, leverage available federal resources in a sustainable and responsible way, and document the results of these efforts.

A policy brief describing six strategies that Arizona and several Arizona counties have implemented in recent years to connect justice-involved people with Medicaid coverage and care when they are not incarcerated and to maintain coverage continuity for Medicaid enrollees who become incarcerated. These strategies served as critical practice examples for the CCJH work in Maryland and Los Angeles County.
