Since competitive funding for PSN began in FY2012, Michigan State University, School of Criminal Justice (MSU), as a PSN Training and Technical Assistance provider has hosted four PSN Research Partner Orientation Courses (RPOC) for more than 120 people from 47 cities . The RPOC is a one to two training attended by at a minimum the PSN Project Coordinator or primary point of contact and the Research Partner (RP). The training is an introduction for newly funded PSN sites on the PSN strategy and other data-driven and evidence-based strategies for violence prevention and control.
