Given events during the reporting period of July 1- December 31, 2020, the INV TTA Team and BJA began discussions of creating and modifying training and technical assistance to address current needs. Additional online materials and resources were discussed or are under development to manage working with graduates and the field during COVID 19 and societal upheaval. The Team engaged the Fellows Academy graduates, in excess of 600 individuals to remain connected. Additionally many conversations and emails were exchanged to plan for an online Spring 2021 Academy. The Academy will include BCJI/CBCR, PSN and SPI sites. MSU worked with BJA and the program TTA providers to develop an agenda and identify instructors.
MSU repurposed travel funds that would have been applied to the in-person Academy to support development of up to 10 case studies. BJA fully supported this modification. Fellows Academy graduates were encouraged to apply for creation of a competitive mini-grant in support of building and informing a community of practice. This is a two-step process. The first step was to submit a one-page summary of the (BJA) grant funded program specifically highlighting changes, successes, or challenges overcome leading to progress. The second step required submission of a case study that will be used as an online resource and with the potential for publications through the Innovations Suite and/or BJA. Five case studies are under development. A second round of case studies will be sought after the first of the year.
MSU spoke with BJA about submitting a no cost extension due to COVID 19 grant activity modifications or adaptations.
Innovations/Smart Suite graduates and instructors have or are developing resources to guide training and TTA plans for grant close-out.
